The MP for Sissala West and Deputy Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu has issued a stern warning to contractors undertaking projects within his constituency.

He emphasized that under no circumstances should contractors hire artisans from outside the community. He stated that contractors must prioritize employing individuals from within the community first, and only if there is no interest should they seek workers from outside the community.

These remarks were made during a sod-cutting ceremony in various communities after the handover of sites to contractors to commence work. The MP reiterated this statement in Bouti, Ballu, Liplime, Jawia, and Kusali. Today, the MP, along with the District Chief Executive Hon. Fuseini Gbene Abudu and project consultants, handed over eight project sites in Sissala West today, 13th April 2026.
