In a Letter dated 27th April 2026, The Queen of Peace SHS in the Nadowli Township of Nadowli-Kaleo District has postponed reopening of School till 12th May 2026 over some setbacks the School is faced With.

In a Letter signed by the New Headmaster, Mr. Anacletus Begyelnye Seeninyin, he explained that the Postponement was necessary to engage stakeholders on possible ways to solve the problems.

The problems outlined included:

1. Inadequate furniture for regular students, BECE and WASSCE candidates at the same time
2. Water crises in the school
3. The same teachers invigilating both BECE and WASSCE, while at the same receiving students reporting to school.

Management Expressed regrets over the inconvenience this postponement might cause parents, students and all other stakeholders.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, SHS 1 and 2 students in single-track schools will resume for their final term (Second Semester) on May 4, 2026, and continue until August 21, 2026. Transitional school students have varied, blended schedules, while Form 3 students finish earlier for WASSCE, ending their year on June 21, 2026.
