NOTIFICATION ON WASSCE HOME ECONOMICS PRACTICAL FEE – GHC136.00

Dear Parents/Guardians, Peace and blessings of God be with you. AS PTA, we wish to formally inform you that all Home Economics candidates for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) are required to pay a Practical Fee of Ghc136.00 per candidate to complement government’s budget for practicals.

This notice is being issued directly to you to ensure clarity and to avoid any misinformation or misinterpretation that may arise through third parties, including your wards.

Purpose of the Fee
The fee covers additional cost of materials, ingredients, and logistics needed for the WASSCE Home Economics Practical Examinations as prescribed by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) but not covered by the government.

Details Amount: Ghc136.00 per candidate, to be paid before completing.
Mode of Payment: All payments should be made to the School PTA Account as follow:

1. Bank Payment Option: [Sonzele Rural Bank, St. Francis Girls PTA, A/C 450151000154071. Remember to submit the pay-in-slip to the school’s PTA
2. Direct option: Pay directly to the PTA secretary in the school.
3. Other important Notes;

• This fee is mandatory for all 2026 WASSCE Home Economics candidates.
• The PTA had already intervened and paid the said amount to enable students write the practical but parents must pay to refund it.
• This was not a decision by the school’s management but a collaborated effort to get the money refunded to PTA for its timely intervention.
