A young man believed to be in his early thirties was found dead early hours 7th, May 2026 at the Wa-Tumu Station in the Wa Metropolis of the Upper West Region.
The cause of his death is still unknown, as the Ghana Police Service has taken the body to the morgue for autopsy and further investigations according to information gathered by Home Radio News Team.
Questionable deaths have been recorded in several parts of Wa lately including at Charia along the Charia-Loho Road Recorded on 6th December 2025.
Another issue was along the Wa-Kaleo Road, in the Wadea Dam where a lifeless Body was found in the Water on the 23rd of April 2026, the deceased was a native of Tagirayiri and a Tricycle rider residing in Mangu, a suburb of Wa Metropolis.

Announcement: Dear yiri-deme There is a deceased young man called Aaron Dery Tieyiri who passed at the Wa lorry station this dawn 07.5 2026, whilst he was transitioning, most probably, from Nsawkaw -Tain District in the Bono Region to Jirapa. The name was noted from copy of a Police Extract issued by the Police in Nsawkaw, found in his bag regarding a lost Ghana Card. The body is currently deposited at the Regional Hospital morgue. Yiri-deme are kindly encouraged to spread this to help his relatives contact the police on 0243285994 for identification.
