The minister for Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Madam Dzifa Abla Gomashie arrived in Funsi on Saturday, 16th May 2026 to officially outdoor Noella Wiyaala, an Award Winning Highlife and culture musician as Fugu(Smock) Ambassador.

This is part of efforts to give Fugu a Global Recognition in order to create jobs for the people on Ghana into weaving and also project the culture of Ghana to the World.

Wiyaala has been seen in several occasions supporting the Wearing of Fugu on Wednesday Initiative introduced by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts after President Mahama Toured Zambia in April 2026.

Several Dignitaries were present in Funsi to Grace the Occasion including the District Chief Executive of Wa East, Nadowli-Kaleo and some VBloggers including Goshers.

Wiyaala expressed gratitude for the confidence bestowed in her and pledged to project Fugu beyond the shores of Ghana.

Before the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Visited Funsi, She was a Royal Cossy Hill Safari Resort to have a feel of Nature by playing with some harmonious animals.
