The rains of 13th May, 2026 at about 5:00 pm caused a lot of disaster in the Konzokala electoral area located in the Jirapa Municipality of Upper West Region.

Several houses have been affected including stores and even places of worship and schools.

Also about 10 High Tension electricity poles were brought down by the rain including several low tension Poles dotted across the electoral area.

The Assemblyman for Konzokala Hon Salia Stephen Dafaa Appealed to government through the National Disaster Management Organization ( NADMO), NGOs and other social organizations that might be of help to come to our aid.
