President Mahama will arrive at the Wa Airport Early Hours of Today , 22nd May 2026. As part of his itinerary, he will inspect the Wa-Sawla-Bole road project Awarded to Messrs Maripoma Enterprise in November 2025.

The Big Push Project is a Major Project that is expected to Reshape Major Roads in the Country in order to improve Economic Activities in the Country.

Some Roads Awarded and Works So Far are:

Wa-Sawla-Wenchi Road – Work ongoing work started Late in May, 5 months after.

Wa-Sabuli Road – No Contractor on Site

Sabuli -Hain Road – Contractor on Site Since Work Was Awarded (P & W Ghanem)

Tumu to Navrongo Road – Contractor on Site Early Enough (Mawums Ltd)

Hamile to Gwollu Road – Contractor Reported a Day before President Mahama’s Visit. No Visible Work Ongoing

Lawra To Hain Road – One Contractor out of Two on Site. (P&W Ghanem on Site),(Juli Jay Not on Site)

Wa-Bulenga-Yaala Road Project (Astee Company Ltd) On Site.
