Three three persons have been reported dead in Funsi The Regional Capital of Wa East District Over a Chieftaincy Related dispute.

the incident was reported by Radford FM Early hours of today 23rd of May 2026.

It can be recalled that a press conference was held earlier on 10th May 2026 Over the Enskinment of Newly Outdoored Paramount Chief Kuoro Adikibe Dagbasi Sampuo III, In the Press conference the group expresses dissatisfaction with several developments behind the Enskinment of the newly outdoored paramount chief.

RadfordFM reporters say the Upper West Regional Police Commander is currently in Funsi to assist with investigations into the violence that reportedly left three people dead between last night and this morning. Security has reportedly been intensified in the area. More details are expected soon.
