A serious road accident occurred this morning on the Wa Airstrip Road involving two Mini buses Today, 27th May 2026.

The vehicles involved are:
▪️ Bus with registration number GG-2368-23, which was travelling from Kumasi.
▪️ Bus with registration number AK 1274-21, which was travelling from Hamile.

According to information gathered, the two buses collided head-on, leaving both drivers and eight passengers injured.

The injured victims have been rushed to the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa for medical treatment.

Authorities are yet to officially comment on the cause of the accident as investigations continue.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution on the roads, especially during the early hours of the day.
