In a Letter Dated 23rd April 2026, the Ghana TVET Service has approved 6 Technical and Vocational Institutions to be operational in the Upper West Region to enhance technical education and create Jobs.

Some Districts That have benefited from the Allocation of schools include Wa West District, Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District, Lambussie District, Wa Metropolis.

ABSORBED INSTITUTIONS INTO THE GHANA TVET SERVICE

The Ghana TVET Service extends its sincere compliments.

The Management of the Service is pleased to formally inform you that, the attached list of institutions have been absorbed into the Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service (GTVETS), effective from the 2026/2027 academic year.

You are kindly requested to take note of this and provide the necessary oversight and assistance to ensure a smooth and effective institutional administrative structure setup. It is therefore instructive to provide guidance and orient key operational staff to ensure smooth transition.
