The Mayor of Wa, Alhaji Nurah Danwana has released a rejoinder disputing statements from Tinaa Musah Adams on Sunday, 14th June 2026.

Mr. Adams released a Statement indicating that Students of Tendamba Primary School are stranded and that The Assembly didn’t construct New School Buildings from Scratch but rather renovated Two Buildings.

In a statement released to Upper West Media Team, The Mayor, Alhaji Nurah Danwana narrated that the preparations to move students of Old Tendamba Primary School to New Tendamba Model School at Dankpalihi was premeditated over a month ago with the right steps put in place. He continued that the New Buildings serving as Tendamba Model School are three and not two.

” We have moved teaching and learning materials from The old school to the current location, We moved the teaching and learning materials with two trucks and one Tricycle, those were more important there was no need moving old desks because that has been provided in the new building..”

The Mayor indicated that the teachers and students were excited moving to the new location celebrating with joy adding that He will be at the Palace of Wa Naa after which he will be at the School Tomorrow, 14th – June – 2026.

“The Students and teachers were jubilating, so we shall be at the palace of Wa Naa with my coordinator and the Media after which we will be at the New School on Monday..”.
