Construction of National Route N18 – Wa – Han Road (Km 54 – 76), P&W Ghanem Limited is to Receive GHS159,447,053.75 for the Contract per reports from Roads Ministry.

A sod Cutting Ceremony was held in Guli, a Suburb of Wa on the 11th of November 2025 after which the Contract planned to extend from Wa to Navrongo was awarded to several contractors including MESSRS Mawums, P&W Ghanem Ltd.

So far P&W Ghanem Ltd has begun works at Sabuli, Ping towards Hain and will stop a little ahead of Nindowaala in the Jirapa Municipality.

The Bitumen Project was earlier on criticized but oer documents it’s to has several Engineering works carried out on it to extend it’s lifespan as P&W Ghanem assure of Quality works.

So far the Contractor who is also to Work on parts of Hain-Lawra Stretch is on site after the work begun officially on 11th of December 2026.

Work is yet to commence on Wa-Kperisi-Sagu-Naro-Fian Stretch which is about 70km.

The Wa-Tumu-Navrongo Road is a very important Economic Road Linking the Upper West Regional Capital, Wa to Other Districts including Nadowli-Kaleo, Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Jirapa, Sissala West and Sissala East Municipality.
