A young man bearing a name Osman Eliyasu believed to be New Patriotic Party Parliamentary candidate aspirant for the Wa east constituency in the upper West region was arrested by the Bureau of National Intelligence in Kumasi for allegedly defrauding an Auto mechanic from Wa Mr.Umar Nurudeen and a National security official in the Ashanti region of their TOYOTA Hilux and cash amount of Sixty Thousand Ghana Cedis respectively.

According to the TOYOTA Hilux victim,Mr Nurudeen who is an Auto Mechanic by profession,Osman Eliyasu came to his shop three months ago at Naa Bore magazine off industrial area in Wa to greet and familiarize with him and also introduce himself as an aspirant in Wa East NPP parliamentary elections before taking off to Kumasi and later called him and demanded that a TOYOTA Hilux he was selling be brought to Kumasi and that he owns a garage and he sells cars but a woman needed a Hilux he was not having in his garage to buy so Mr. Nurudeen should bring his TOYOTA Hilux he was selling to him to buy.

Nurudeen drove the vehicle from Wa to Kumasi and handed over to him which he later asked Mr.Nurudeen to return to Wa and that he would soon deposit the negotiated amount in his account.

Nurudeen returned to Wa with his Car documents and waiting patiently for a Bank alert before releasing the Vehicle documents only to be told in a month later that Osman was busted by NIB for defrauding a national security official of sixty thousand cedis and was detained in Kumasi Ahodwo NIB office with the seized Vehicle for investigation.

He also told the NIB that,the TOYOTA Hilux belongs to him for his campaign which he customized with his campaign flyers and nearly damaged it beyond repairs within that shortest period.

Mr.Nurudeen has to involve the Serious Fraud Office and National security from Wa before he could retrieve his vehicle back with his documents as proof.
