The Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University has made Significant Financial Gains in the Past Year with a whooping surplus of GH¢9,013,650 as compared with a surplus of GH¢1,409,438 recorded in 2024.

This was captured in Report of the Auditor-General on the Public Accounts of Ghana – Public Universities, Technical
Universities and Colleges of Education for the year ended 31 December 2025

This report relates to the audited financial statements of the Dr. Hilla
Limann Technical University for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Financial Performance

The University ended the year with a surplus of GH¢9,013,650 as
compared with a surplus of GH¢1,409,438 recorded in 2024, representing an
improvement of 539.5% in its financial performance.

Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (DHLTU), located in Wa, Ghana, was formally established and converted from Wa Polytechnic into a technical university under the Technical Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Act 1016). This followed the foundational framework laid by the Technical Universities Act, 2016 (Act 922) and the Technical Universities (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Act 974).

It’s Currently led by Prof. Hamidatu Darimani as first Female Vice Chancellor.
