The future of 60 pre-Senior High School (SHS) students in Jirapa has received a major boost after the Anwelle Foundation stepped in to fund an educational intervention programme organised by Wulsong.
The foundation absorbed the entire GH¢200-per-student tuition fee, allowing all 60 beneficiaries to attend the preparatory classes and career guidance sessions completely free of charge.

Speaking at the launch on behalf of Wulsong, Mr Michael Dakorah praised the CEO of the Anwelle Foundation, Mr Frank Anwelle, describing him as a visionary with a genuine passion for the youth. “Frank Anwelle is a visionary man who has a heart for your future,” Dakorah told the students.
In his address to the beneficiaries, Mr Frank Anwelle urged them to complement the foundation’s investment with hard work, discipline, and dedication. He emphasised that the program’s success depends heavily on the students taking their studies seriously.
To support their learning, the foundation distributed six exercise books and a pen to each student. Mr Anwelle also announced that the students will receive a hot chocolate meal once a week throughout the program.
To drive academic excellence and discipline, the foundation will give special rewards to the three best-performing students, the most punctual student, and the neatest student. Additionally, experienced professionals will be brought in to provide career guidance to help the students make informed choices about their futures.
Mr Anwelle further promised that the foundation will provide extra support to all 60 beneficiaries as they transition to their respective Senior High Schools.
This initiative is part of the Anwelle Foundation’s ongoing commitment to investing in education and creating sustainable opportunities for young people across the Jirapa area.
