The Current Upper West Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Basiera Sankara has declared his intention to contest for the position of National Youth Organizer.

He is hoping to take Over from Mr. George Opare Addo who is currently serving as the Minister of Youth Development and Empowerment.

Mr. Basiera Sankara made this declaration at the Upper West Regional Youth and Tein Retreat under the them “Sustaining the gains:Empowering the Youth for the Future” on the 22nd of August 2026.
