Riding has become a necessity and not luxury lately and it’s prudent to make the right decision by choosing what is easy to maintain.

These are five motorbikes you may have issues maintaining because their spare parts aren’t affordable or readily accessible in Wa and other parts of Upper West Region.

  1. Scooter 155 – A very powerful automatic bike preferred by many but have few mechanics with expertise to work on them, it’s difficult to get spare parts for this bike triggering the need to import from Kumasi and other areas.
  2. Haojue UH115 – a very consistent and formidable bike that can assist you in your journey of travel and tour, however, it’s spare parts are not readily available in Wa and other parts of Ghana Making it difficult to Maintain.
  3. TVS Apache 170 – It’s a very good sports bike that can aid people with passion for long distance riding to achieve their dream of Traveling with convenience however it’s parts are very difficult to come by making it one of the difficult bikes to maintain.
  4. Dayun Baby – A Bike preferred by women because of it’s extended boot for carrying items and it’s strong engine and length for carrying the family on a tour. Some people prefer it because of its speed of up to 100km/h. However, it’s spare parts including covers are difficult to find.
  5. Yamaha AG – one of the oldest and preferred bikes by NGOs and other organizations for official works. It’s strong and can stand the test of time however maintenance is key in using a bike for years this bike has very few spare parts in the open market making it expensive and difficult to Maintain.
