The Sissala East Municipal Assembly headed by Hon. Bening Adamu Yakubu disputed claims that the Assembly has Auctioned Vehicles including a Tipper Truck and some equipment. The Concerns were raised by Mr. Kanton Issah Luriwie on Radford FM.

In a statement Released by the MCE Today, September 20th, 2026, The Assembly Called Stated:

SISSALA EAST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY REJOINDER: ALLEGED SALE OF ASSEMBLY VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT

The attention of the Sissala East Municipal Assembly has been drawn to a Facebook post by Mr. Kanton Issah Luriwie, a Communication Team Member of the NPP in the Sissala East Constituency, alleging that the Assembly has sold off some of its vehicles and equipment.

The Assembly wishes to state categorically that this allegation is false, misleading, and without any merit.

No vehicle or equipment belonging to the Assembly has been sold.

The Assembly wishes to assure the general public that, should there be any need to auction any vehicle or equipment in the future, due process will be followed and it will be made public in accordance with law.

The general public is therefore entreated to disregard the said publication and treat it Hon. Bening Adamu Yakubu with the contempt it deserves.
