The Sissala East Assembly cuts sod for the construction of various projects in the Municipality. This was captured in the Sissala Radio news bulletin of 21st September 2026.

The Sissala East Municipal Assembly together with the Municipal Chief, the Hon. MP, the Ghana Education Service and the Ghana Health Service has handed over various sites across communities in the Municipality for the construction of Educational and and Health facilities to enhance the living conditions of the people.

All projects under this phase has six months time duration to be completed with the maximum quality as specified in the contract designs. The projects are as follows:

1. Construction of 3 unit classroom block with 4 seater kvip toilet and 2 unit urinary at Kong Baluolo. The Contractor in charge of this project is Kambaraka Synergy ltd.
2. Construction of one number CHPS compound with nurses accommodation, a mechanised borehole and electricity extension Vamboi.
   The name of the Contractor is D-mark Enterprise.
3. Construction of 2 unit KG block with office, staff room, 2 unit toilet, 2 unit urinary, mechanised borehole
   Contructor name: Tarimgyuuri company ltd
4. Construction of 2 unit KG block and 4 number teachers quarters with sanitary facilities and a mechanised borehole at Bandei. The name of the Contractor is Samklima LTD
5. Completion of community centre with electricity extension and water facility at Challu. The name of the Contractor is Zamzuuque Ent.
6. Construction a butcher house with water supply system in Tumu Tokurojan. The name of the contractor is IMO-LAANA ENT LTD

All six projects are funded by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF)
