Speaking on Bongara Program Hosted by Nuhu Sualah on Thursday, 17th of September 2026, Hon James Wor, District Chief Executive of Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District (DBI) assured that work was ongoing smoothly on the Government’s 24 Hour Economy Market Project being constructed in Bussie during a One on One Media Engagement about Economic fortunes of the District.

Statement

“Work has commenced on the 24 Hour Economy Market in Bussie and we went there for inspection, I’m impressed with work being done there by the contractor.”

Ghana’s 24-hour economy market initiative involves plans by President John Dramani Mahama to construct 261 round-the-clock modern markets across the country to stimulate local economic growth. The Market is to be established alongside a women’s Development Bank.
