The District Chief Executive of Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District, Hon. James Wor has assured people of Dakyee of his Plan to Rehabilitate Their Dam as part of efforts to facilitate dry season farming.

Speaking on Bongara Program Hosted by Nuhu Sualah on Thursday, 17th of September 2026, Hon James Wor, District Chief Executive of Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District (DBI) Outlined some projects he undertook at Duang community in the District.

Statement

We’re waiting for the dry season, Daffiama Dakyee Dam has begun spilling over major defects, when I was young several fishes were gotten from that dam also, vegetables, it has been with defects for more than six years so we appealed to issue EU and now the EU has taken over the issue together with Moyiri, so After this rains, work with commence, Moyiri will be getting a new dam.
