The Wa Municipal Health Promotion Officer Mr. Bipuah Mohammed has outlined Roadmaps for Training Health Personnel on Vaccination of Individuals in the Region against the Horrendous Yellow Fever Disease after some reported Death Cases.

Three People have been confirmed dead so far from Yellow Fever.

Statement Below:

As announced by the Minister of Health a few days ago, the Upper West Regional Health Directorate will tomorrow train health workers who will participate in the Yellow Fever vaccination exercise scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 14th October 2026.

Please note that this training and vaccination exercise will cover only the following three districts:

1. Wa West District
2. Sissala East Municipality
3. Sissala West District
