The name Yiziri is a community name that refers to a farming community, now a mining community in Nadowli-Kaleo District of Upper West Region. The name is similar to names of communities in other areas outside upper West Region however, several people confuse the names and locations of other communities to the community located in Nadowli-Kaleo District. Nadowli Yiziri is located along the Lawra road, few meters from Bano Kpazie community.

Yizesi in North East Region. It is close to Kundugu Community along the Kundugu Funsi Yagaba Road. Yizesi is a farming community in the Yagaba Kubori Constituency.
