The Mayor of Wa Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Alhaji Nurah Danwana has announced that 10.3km of roads in Wa are to be Asphalted to facilitate mobility and improve town roads to meet the city’s status.

The Mayor made a statement concerning roads in Wa on Saturday, 7th November 2026 on his Facebook social media handle.

“10.30 km of Wa Township roads are to be asphalted very soon.”

Several roads in Wa and Nadowli Town have received some Reshaping and have been Asphalted prior to the 2016 General elections 10 years ago.

In Wa, Hilla Liman Highway and JJ Rawlings High Street were Asphalted, Wa Municipal Hospital Road and Dodoo Street were also Asphalted.

In Nadowli-Kaleo District’s Capital Nadowli, The Road linking Nadowli Road about to the District Assembly was Asphalted.
