UW: Statistics For Voter Registration in All 11 Eleven Constituencies

The Electoral Commission Commissioned Voter Registration across the country from 12th September 2023 and ends on Monday, 2nd October 2023, Replacement of Missing Voter ID Cards will Commence Afterwards.

Meanwhile, Two People Were Apprehended at the Wa Office of Electoral Commission for Attempting to Register Twice.

The Apprehended individuals explained that they taught the registration process carried out in the past was different from what is being done currently.

Day 1 Registration statistics from the Upper West Region

1. Wa Central 85

2. Wa West 35 people

3. Wa East 19.

4. DBI, only 5 persons registered.

5. Nadowli/Kaleo only 18 registered.

6. Jirapa 19 people registered.

7. Sissala West, only 5 registered.

8. Sissala East, only 11 registered.

9. Lambussie registration could not take place due to faulty machines (all 4 PCs)

10 Nandom 53 people registered
