Motorbike owners in Upper West after being abreast with issues of inflation in the Upper West Division of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority have threatened a demonstration exercise.

Some of the youth speaking to Upperwestmedia.net said they’ve been taken for a ride and their intelligence have been insulted. They Added that the pressure on motorbike owners for registration was suspicious all along and insisted the demonstration will go a long way to draw more attention to the issue for solutions to be brought quickly.
Upper West DVLA has been accused of increasing cost of registering motorbikes in the Region from Ghc116 and Ghc140 to Ghc350 thereby compelling citizens to cough up extra Ghc234 and Ghc210 respectively to be able to register their motorbikes.
