A young and vibrant footballer from Upper West Region Hafiz Konkoni born 27th December 1999 has made it Christ Hughton’s 55-Man Squad to be present at the 2023 Afcon Tournament in Ivory Coast.

He iss the third Player from Upper West Region to be sought out for in a Few Years since Mohammed Kudus was Given a Call Up. Ishmail Abdul Ganiu a Former Asante Kotoko Defender ha also played for the Black Stars in the Past.

Hafiz Wontah Konkoni is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as forward for Tanzanian Premier League side Young Africans. He previously had spells in Northern Cyprus playing for Alsancak Yeşilova and Baf Ülkü Yurdu.
