An Unidentified Man has been found Dead in Wadih Dam along the Airport Kaleo Road in Wa Metropolis of the Upper West Region Today, Wednesday, 23rd April 2026.

The Deceased was spotted by Some Fisher Men who reported to the Assembly Member of the Area by name Hon. Zakaria Ibrahim.

The Assembly Member after receiving the report invited the police and some divers to assist in retrieving the Body from the Water.

The Upper West Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr Francis Yiribaare was at the Scene as at 9am on 23rd of April 2026 to assess the Body and directed that it is Conveyed from the Crime scene for Investigations to be carried out on it.

Several people were present however, due to the horrendous nature of the decomposing body of the deceased, it was difficult for people around to identify him.

This Hasn’t been the first of such developments, a lifeless Body was found at Charia in the Wa Metropolis on the 6th of December 2025 , The Police is yet to release an Investigation Report about he incident.[Watch the Incident]
