Mr. Sunley Karimu, NPP Sisaala West Constituency organizer has indicated that with the trend of events, some Parliamentary Candidates of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) May go Unopposed or by Acclamation.

His statement came during an interview with Tumu Based Radford FM on Saturday, 11th – July – 2026.

“In the next parliamentary elections, the trend may continue, there might not be an open contest. From polling stations to electoral areas, and now the constituency, it is all about consensus building. However, when we reach that point and others believe there should be elections, it will be granted” – Mr. Sunley Karimu, NPP Sisaala West Consitueucncy organizer

It can be recalled that 11 Constituency Executives of Sissala West were endorsed by Acclamation a day ahead of the Voting Exercise slated for 11th – July – 2026
