The Finance Minister in the Mid Year Budget Statement Read on the Floor of Parliament Today, July 23rd 2026 has stated that Ten new senior High Schools shall be constructed in Some selected Regions including the upper West Rebgion to facilitate access to quality senior high school Education.

The Regions include Western, Western North, Greater Accra, Volta, Oti, Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Savannah, and Central Region

“Mr. Speaker, the ten new secondary schools will be strategically distributed to improve access in underserved areas. One new school each will be constructed in the Western, Western North, Greater Accra, Volta, Oti, Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Savannah, and Central Regions.”
