Community Volunteers have devoted Time and Working Energy To Mitigate traffic on Liplime Tumu Road in Upper West Region after part of it was washed away by rain. In a report by Alhaji Kancho, a community Development advocate in Liplime located in Sissala West District he Urged the Sissala West District Assembly to urgently address the problem.

Rains of 23rd – July – 2026 was enormous, triggering overflow from a nearby dam which resulted in a portion of Liplime Tumu Road being washed away.

Several appeals weren’t attended to resulting in some Youth devoting time and energy to fix the road.

The youth questioned the use of DRIP machines Allocated to the assembly calling for a contractor of Hamile -Gwollu Road to fix the road.

The DCE of Sissala West, Mr. Fuseini Gbene has been Urged to proactively use the DRIP Machines of Sissala West District Assembly in fixing vital business roads of the area.
