In a matter of five years, the Speaker of Parliament who was also a member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin has executed several projects in The Region with some projects beginning whilst others are currently in use.

The are the list of projects below:

Yamoransah Lab 14 – Kaleo

Facilitated the Constitution of Yamoransah Lab 14 in Kaleo.The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, officially commissioned the Yamoransa Model (YM) Lab 14 on March 22, 2025, in Kaleo located in the Nadowli-Kaleo District of Ghana’s Upper West Region.Financed by Speaker Alban Bagbin in partnership with the Helping Africa Foundation.Designed to boost Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education.Serves an estimated 3,400+ students in the local community.

McCoy AstroTurf Project

Lobbied for and Facilitate the Construction of McCoy AstroTurf to Enhance Sports in the Nadowli-Kaleo District. Speaker Bagbin inaugurated a GH¢10 million ultra-modern Astro-turf at the McCoy College of Education. The 75 by 110-square-foot Astroturf field was opened to use on the 26th of August 2024.

Sombo Senior High School Administration Block

Financed the Constitution of a Modern Administration Office for Sombo Senior High School in August 2026 and Lobbied for Sombo and Takpo SHS to have School Buses.

Expanded Dialysis Unit At The Upper West Regional Hospital

Speaker of Parliament Officially Commissioned The Expanded Dialysis Unit At The Upper West Regional Hospital On Tuesday, 4th August 2026.
Supported through the leadership of the Rt. Hon. Speaker, in collaboration with the Upper West Parliamentary Caucus and Sustainable Health Education and Intervention Limited (SHIELD GH.).

24 – Hour Economy Market in Sankana

Financing the Construction of a 24 Hour Economy Market in Sankana in the Nadowli-Kaleo District. This will increase the number to Two with one funded by government in Nadowli Town and the other in Sankana.

Ultra Modern Palace Infrastructure at Wa Naa’s Palace

Funding the Construction of an Ultra Modern Palace Infrastructure at Wa Naa’s Palace in the Capacity as Dakagli Naa, A Titled Bestowed on him August 27, 2024.

Ulta Modern 2,000 Capacity Assembly Hall at Wa Senior High School

Funding the construction of an ultramodern two thousand capacity Assembly Hall at Wa Senior High School his Alma Mata as part of the 70th Anniversary, the project is expected to cost Ghc9 Million.

Established Zanno International School

The speaker of Parliament who is a former Teacher of English Language and a Lawyer has established a Private Model School in Wa Sombo to facilitate the access to advanced education in the Upper West Region.
