The Founder of Yirimambo Advocacy Program and Radio Show Host, Atawulahi Kangmintanye has received a Brand New Apsonic 110 Motorcycle from Alhaji Alhassan Uthman Gbangu, a Philanthropist and Business Mogul from Limanyiri in the Wa Metropolis of Upper West Region.

The Journalist who spoke with Upper West Media Team on Saturday, 30th August 2026 expressed gratitude for the Motorbike.

He said the Motorbike will assist him in reporting more community stories that are yet to be covered in several hinterlands in the Upper West Region.

Mr. Atawulahi Kangmintanye was the Assembly Member for Dupari Electoral Area in the Wa East District and have covered several investigative stories in the Upper West Region. His focus is on getting results for communities with developmental Setbacks by engaging the community stakeholders on Electronic Platforms Such as Facebook and Whatsapp.

Meanwhile, a Journalist with Home Radio in Wa by Name Karky Tuurosung also received a Brand New Drone worth Thirty Thousand Cedis (¢30,000) During a Media Engagement with Alhaji Alhassan Uthman Gbangu at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Wa.

Alhaji Alhassan Uthman Gbangu has also made several other Donations including funding the Completion of a Maternity Ward, Mortuary at Duori Clinic. He also donated Tricycles to some active youth groups in Wa and Supported the Upper West Regional Chief Imam’s Educational Endowment fund with a Donation of Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis in Cash(¢20,000) and a Pledge of One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (¢100,000).
