An Engineer of PW Ghanem Ltd, Engineer Ibrahim Y. Abubakari Has Responded to A Statement by Lambussie District DCE, Hon. Naawulle Irreneous About the State of Lambussie Piina Road Currently and why it’s not Tarred.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team on 10th of October 2026, the Engineer indicated that an 8km Nandom – Ko – Lambussie Road was awarded during the Previous Presidential administration but the contract was terminated with some roads being reawarded as big push projects.

“..We were awarded an 8km Nandom -Ko-Lambussie Project and worked on it till the contract was terminated, so currently no funding for it, if we stay how will we get the money?”. The Engineer questioned.

He also Indicated that Lawra-Han-Tumu Road is what they are working on under the Big Push Project and haven’t abandoned Lambussie Road Project as it’s being purported.

It can be recalled that the DCE for Lambussie in a One on One Interview with Upper West Media Team on 24th of August 2026, Indicated that the Lambussie to Piina Road was awarded to Two Contractors including P&W Ghanem Ltd and Astee Gh LTD but they are currently not on site.
