Traders of the Wa Old market located close to Maase Road in the Wa Township will on the 7th of April 2020 be moved from their previous location to new Market site developed by the Assembly.

The movement According to the Municipal Assembly will be part of Efforts to boost trade and industry in the Municipality and also serve as a motivating factor for development of the Municipality.

The New Market located on the Wa-Charia road have over 120 stores and 5 warehouses for the start.

The Market is Valued at $1.5 million equivalent to Ghc 8,400,000 according to property value and rating index.

The Assembly cautioned all to comply with the policy to avoid being forced by men in uniform.
