The Deputy Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Amidu Chinnia has been Attacked by robbers.

According to Eyewitnesses close to his residence, the incident occurred at Sombo at about 9:00pm Thursday Evening whilst he was driving.

The Minister after the attack was rushed to a private nearby hospital for medical checkups.

The Upper West Regional police command has since begun investigation into the unfortunate incident.

Mr. Amidu Chinnia is one of the aspirants for parliamentary candidate in the Sissala East NPP primaries.
