Upper West: Lawra MCE Reported Dead

The Incumbent Municipal Chief Executive of Lawra, Alhaji Adams Muazu has been reported dead today, 24th – June – 2025 from reliable reports.

He passed on after a short illness. Alhaj Muazu was nominated about 11 weeks ago on the 5th of April 2025 as MCE for Lawra alongside ten others of the Region into similar positions.

He was confirmed as MCE on the 22nd of April 2025 by the Lawra Municipal Assembly with 33 ‘Yes’ Votes and ‘8’ No Votes.

He was A Teacher by Profession and the CEO of Supertek Digital Creations.

Several People have begun pouring condolence messages whilst awaiting the Presidents nomination of a new MCE to replace Him.

He Succeeded Mr. Jacob D. Dery of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

    Hon. Why so soon 😭😭😭 you took me and the NEC member Hon. Cecilia Asaga to your wife restaurant in Lawra during the limited registration exercise in 2024 and provided us food and drink of our choice, from there we exchanged contacts and i called and congratulated you when you have been appointed as MCE for Lawra. Hon. I told you that i shall pass your office anytime i am coming home from Wa😭😭😭😭😭 and you said okay, only for me to hear this sad new early today 😭😭😭😭. Why Hon. May you go well till we meet again and do not forget bout your boys and the party ( NDC)
